I’m now at home, preparing to get a mysterious and huge delivery tomorrow. Want to find out what it is that I’m having delivered and why I’m extremely excited about getting it? Check back tomorrow, and I promise photos.
In the meanwhile, feel free to guess what will be delivered. Hint: it’s very big.
Is it one of these?

I still have nightmares about piano lessons I had to take for 7 horrible years, so NO!
A big TV? That would connect to your Kindle?
BIGGER!
A very, very big box of books?
That would be nice. . . But no, it isn’t.
new dishwasher? or washer/dryer? (covering head for objects about to fly at me!)
I really want a new washer and dryer, so you read my innermost wishes.
But I don’t have the money for the ones I really want (red, with chrome fittings!)
A desk? A couch?
Even bigger!
I really hope it fits into the room.
Ooooh, I love mystifying people.
A bathtub (jacuzzi) for 2.
This is an impossible dream. . . Maybe when I’m old and rich.
But that would be really phenomenal.
OK, a little hint: the most important household object for married people.
BED
Adrian and Pen win almost at the same time! Yay!!!
Good job, folks! It is a beautiful huge bed with many many drawers for me to store my stuff.
I’m guessing a china cabinet? You talked about that earlier this summer. And it seems like a good married person’s thing.
I still haven’t found a good one! I mean, I did find a good one but it’s $2,500 which is about five times more than what I can afford. Well, one can always wait until tenure.
A bed?
Oh, I was going to suggest a Christmas tree. Oh well.
