For the first time ever, we don’t get a return on the taxes but actually have to pay extra. A lot extra.
I feel an urge to switch political allegiances already. And we are not even actually rich yet. Imagine what the future holds.

The tax rate is still hugely better than it would have been in Canada.
Clinton era tax rates, I suppose. One needs to keep things in a global perspective. It could be way worse depending on the country you’re living in.

Especially in Québec…so it’s more acceptable to pay 150$ in extra for school tools here than in Québec… 😉
