  1. I recovered from writing my PhD in English and Cultural Studies by watching engineering shows on TV. I just couldn’t get enough of engineering shows. Engineering Disasters, Monumental Structures, shipping structures, what have you.

These shows seemed absolutely necessary for me to counterbalance my brain.

  2. Professor, definitely professor. I’m a scientist without a significant other. Funnily enough, that’s been my goal for years – I love teaching people science. And I LOVE learning about it. I’ve always been of the mindset that there’s absolutely no point in learning something super cool (research) if you can’t communicate and share it with other people. Despite the fact that chart is full of stereotypes and ridiculousness, it is amusing. And one day I’m going to be a professor. 🙂

  3. I’m either a librarian or professor. Asking me to pick between pre and post 20th Century is like asking me to pick between tow dear friends.

  4. It thinks I should be a teacher or a professor. Funnily enough, I have been paid to teach for large parts of my working life so far, although I wouldn’t call it an vocation. However I’m now studying law, but again it’s kinda correct – I am thinking I may go into academic law.

I would object to the boring bit, but unfortunately I resemble that remark also. 😉
