We are preparing to celebrate Ukrainian Easter and Basia’s birthday. The thingies surrounded by painted eggs are paski. Paski take forever to bake, so I’d never make them. My mother is the author of the paski.
Of course, there will be a ton of food on the table eventually. For now, I just wanted to show the decor and the paski.

Speaking of baking, have you watched ‘The Great British Baking Show’? We discovered it not too long ago. I’m not even a baker, but it’s so soothing to watch. The hosts are wonderful. This show has broken the mold of the ‘one good judge, one asshole judge’. Both judges are compassionate and supportive, no matter how much the contestants fuck up. I think you’d like it!
