More Hypocrisy

I watched the very beginning of the Sessions’ testimony and I’m glad it was made very clear that Bill Clinton, Bush Jr, and Obama were super cosy with the Russians. It’s only now that everybody is faking outrage over the Kremlin’s shady dealings that they participated in or, at best, pretended not to notice.

And this is why I’m not following the Russian scandal.

  1. I’m just tired of the ‘Russians influenced the elections’ stuff. Right wing agitprop has always been here. White olds have always been angry, paranoid, and terrified of blacks, muslims, commies, mexicans, young people, immigrants, sex, whatever.

I’ll use a drugs war analogy here. Blaming the cartels completely ignores the demand side of the equation, and an understanding of what exact need these drugs satisfy.

Before the internet there were pamphlets (remember Ron Paul?), AM Radio, chain mail, etc. If Russians hadn’t built millions of twitter bots, someone else would have. There’s a section of the american society that does want to consume news about a globalist new world order controlled by (((George Soros))) and islamist socialist buddies like Obama, or hillary clinton using the Clinton Foundation to deliver children to pedophiles working out of a pizza shop, or email servers, death panels, or obamaphones, or ungrateful blacks who wont show respect to the flag, and on and on.

Russians didn’t create this addiction. It’s entirely home-grown. The demand for that product is there, and someone has to deliver it to the addict.

  2. “this is why I’m not following the Russian scandal.”

I’m not following the Russian scandal(s) because at this point in time, I don’t think that ANY of them (The Mueller investigation into Trump, the Republicans’ efforts to rekindle the Clintons’ involvement) are going to yield any real fruit.

Some Trump underlings may go down, but the big fish (Trump and Hillary) will get through unscathed. So it’s all a boring exercise in nothingness.

      1. “Hillary has nothing to do with the Russians… It’s a mystery how you managed not to discover this yet.”

It’s a mystery how you sometimes hear only what you want to. 🙂

There are numerous news articles on the Internet “indicating Russian nuclear officials routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided favorable decisions to Moscow.” According to Republican Senate investigators, this represents a “clear conflict of interest.”

As I said, I don’t think these investigations are going anywhere — but they’re based on real evidence.
