Frustrated

I was talking to N and suddenly Klara said, “Mommy, I’m frustrated because I’m trying to have a conversation with you and you are talking to Daddy.”

For the new readers of the blog, this is an interesting anecdote because Klara is two and a half, and I’ve been working very hard to teach her to express enotions with words.

    1. It will be even better when 30-year-olds will argue they are entitled to pensions because they feel like they have the identity of retirees. And I will love to see what argument our believers in fluid identities will use against this idea.

  1. What’s really interesting is that she not only expresses her emotions in words, but that she can separate frustration from anger. A lot of kids don’t learn that until they’re quite a bit older.
