A Good Mother

Today Klara and I played that I was Baby Bunting (from the nursery rhyme) and she was my mommy. And I got to tell you, folks, she’s a fantastic mommy.

We played for an hour, and I was one shitty baby. I whined, moaned, complained, tossed away food, barfed, and made myself difficult in any way I could. But she was unwaveringly sweet, kind, and patient with me. The entire time she used this cooing, sweet voice that I never knew she possessed. I have no idea where she gets this from.
