Memories

The poorest I have ever been was during the year when I took Greyhound trips to Lafayette. Once it got so bad that I literally didn’t have a dollar to buy a soft drink. It was really hot and I was really thirsty. But if you don’t have a dollar, you don’t have a dollar.

I was concealing my pathetic state from N because I was ashamed. (The whole situation was a result of being bamboozled and robbed by dishonest Canadian bankers).

Being here brings back all the memories.
