Faith in Humanity

After spending all day maniacally working on my edited volume, I went outside and discovered that neighbors on both sides have a lot more cars parked next to them than usual.

This means they are normal! They are having visitors! Maybe even planning barbecues!

My faith in humanity has been restored.

CNN Censorship

CNN removed the August 11th, 1993 Larry King Episode from Google Play, the episode featuring a call from Tara Reade’s mother. CNN is actively colluding with the Biden campaign to cover up evidence of Biden’s sexual assault.

This was a completely nothing-burger episode (I watched it) that proved absolutely nothing, and still it was censored. Amazing.

Another Birthday

I was sure April 25 was today, so I missed the birthdays of two of my favorite gentlemen in their seventies. Everybody here knows David, but the second birthday fellow is not on the blog.

He’s one of the only two Ukrainians I know in this whole region, and he was brought here as a small child by Ukrainian parents who escaped from the Nazis who had sent them to work camps, then escaped from the Soviets who wanted to do the same, and then didn’t stop running until they got all the way to Illinois.

Bret Stephens Leaves the Dark Side

In spite of his occasional assholery, Bret Stephens is the only person worth reading in the NYTimes. His most recent column about the extraordinary idiocy of locking up the whole country because of the COVID numbers of NYC is really good.

I can’t link because the paper punishes me for being a subscriber by not letting me link. But I’m glad that the number of people who are reasonable about COVID is growing.
