Crime Spree

It isn’t antifas, it isn’t the imaginary white supremacists, it isn’t outside agitators. And it isn’t even the Russians. Most of the rioters arrested in MN are local:

Local jail records show the vast majority of those arrested for rioting, unlawful assembly and burglary are Minnesotans.

In casting blame on those responsible for the worst damage from the riots, local and state leaders attributed it to people not from Minnesota.

But publicly available data does not support those claims, KARE 11 Investigates has found.

Riots are happening in do many places at least once that you’d need an antifa organization of a gigantic size to be everywhere at once.

This isn’t a political event. It’s a collective crime spree. And the presence of a bunch of white prep boys among crowds of looters doesn’t change that.

Police brutality, police shmutality. American police are wusses if they allow a crazed crowd to run around looting, vandalizing, stealing, and destroying for days.

  1. At least, they are still not blaming Jews.

Though, considering Trump’s relatives, this day may come … from both sides of the political spectrum.

Ironically, blaming foreign agents is exactly what one would expect from Putin’s regime. I thought Americans, especially the educated Liberals, were more sophisticated.

    1. You are unfortunately mistaken, El. This day already came. The far right is blaming Soros and the far left has defaced synagogues and Judaica stores. “Free Palestine” is a huge part of these riots. It seems like the only actual measure the “protesters” are asking for.

I haven’t heard this on Israeli TV. Where have you heard it?

  2. I’d still bet on some of it being organized and funded– the gas-masks-and-shields crowd were present. Not that there aren’t plenty of opportunists in any large urb. I would like to know how many of these guys were released recently, perhaps due to the pandemic?

  3. Wusses, or want it to happen? I maintain that both police and “the powers that be” have interests that are served by rioting. Like you said, it clears the way for gentrification. Riots also generally lead to some “tough on crime” backlash.
