Too Primitive

This is comedic gold:

Our propaganda back in the USSR was actually a lot smarter. Because nobody was primitive enough to believe this kind of ridiculousness.

P.S. For the readers of the NYTimes: by ridiculousness I mean the idea that the spike in violence is hard to explain.

  1. “the idea that the spike in violence is hard to explain”

    Will the next step be…
aaa punitive lock downs for the poor?
bbb a bunch of people getting massive grants to ‘study’ this amazingly unexplainable problem?
cccc cuts to the existing welfare safety net (such as it is)?
ddd withdrawal of other government services from poor neighborhoods (including utilities like water and power)?
    eee all of the above?

  2. My kids’ cousin is visiting, and I let them play unsupervised all morning in the house. In TOTALLY UNRELATED and utterly shocking and mystifying news, the bedrooms are a total wreck. Was there a tornado???

  3. Another decidedly unfunny AP headline from a couple of days ago – “In risky bid, Trump stokes racial rancor to motivate voters”

In other words, not only is Trump a race-baiter but those who vote for him are also racists.

Long gone is the neutral voice of professional journalism. Requiescat in pace.

  4. Have you watched the latest Tucker? It was unusually informative. For readers who don’t watch, here are the latest and most curious news.

Turns out Maxwell was put in a jail notorious for sexual abuse of female inmates. One recent case concerns a lieutenant – ironically responsible for teaching officers about the PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) – who decided to rape inmates himself.

As for BLM, Don Lemon, an African-American CNN news anchor, said what BLM is about when another black person started talking of children killed by black-on-black gun violence in Chicago and compaining of BLM’s silence.

Don Lemon’s response (the last sentence is a true ‘punch line’):

“The BLM started because of … police brutality. If you want an all BLM movement that talks about gun violence in communities, including you know black communities, then start that movement with that name. But that’s not what BLM is about. The BLM movement is about police brutality and injustice in that manner, not about what’s happening in black neighborhoods.”

A proposed new law: “Two San Francisco lawmakers have a proposed a bill which would make it a hate crime to call 911 to file a false report against a person of color.
… The pair have called their proposal the Caution Against Racially Exploitative Non-Emergences Act, or the CAREN Act. The acronym is a play on the name Karen … While filing a false police report is already a crime, the CAREN Act would add a ‘hate crime’ extension to the offence”

    Last but not the least:

Convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg sits on board tied to BLM’s fundraising operations.
Susan was pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office, after spending 16 out of her 58 years in prison, because of being involved in murders of cops in several towns.
