Only 6% of US COVID deaths list COVID as the only cause.

The rest have up to five other causes, including cancer, suicide, gunshot wounds, dementia, kidney failure, diabetes, obesity, and so on and on). The average COVID death certificate lists 2,6 causes of death.

At least 5,000 COVID deaths in the US have accidental injury or poisoning listed as primary cause of death.

This is all per the CDC data.

  1. OT: I’m curious as to why you’ve started writing 2,6 instead of 2.6. Reading too much Spanish?

Saw more details about covid stats on twitter. I knew the numbers were misreported, but this much!

  2. And in yet another statistic, even the NYT reports this:

Quote: “In three sets of testing data that include cycle thresholds, compiled by officials in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada, up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus, a review by The Times found.”

In other words, 90% of the so-called “cases” are …. ?

    1. “In other words, 90% of the so-called “cases” are …. ?”

My take: they’ve decided to start letting the marks down easy… (before they figure out on their own and get as mad as they should be).

      1. You may well be right; that would completely explain how the CDC has been quietly but steadily loosening its recommendations and moving towards normalcy.

  3. Respectfully, if the Russian version of the CDC did exactly the same thing, what would you say the reason was?
