Preparing for a Recount

I play this game on my phone. It’s called house design. You get a list of assignments like “design the living room for an apartment of an ad executive in Lviv Ukraine” and then you have to choose the furniture and decor that you pay for with in-game cash and diamonds. People who want to make really beautiful designs can purchase more cash and diamonds than you are initially given through in-game purchases. If you don’t want to spend actual money (and I obviously don’t), you can get free diamonds by, among other things, answering surveys. I like surveys, so that’s what I do.

Most of the surveys I do are political and they have invariably been from the Biden campaign. I think I’ve now seen and commented on every ad the campaign has made. Recently, a new question appeared in these surveys. It’s this:

“If on election night, the results show that Trump won, are you prepared to accept the result on that day or the next day?”

I didn’t understand the question at first but now I get it. They think they are losing and are preparing for a protracted recount that will last as long as it takes to get the “right” result.

  1. It’s weekend of Jewish New Year ( Rosh Hashanah) in Israel and a new (not full) lockdown during the High Holidays time for the closest 3 weeks, so I’ve watched this week’s Tucker episodes today.

Want to ask you as somebody who enjoys watching Tucker and defended him on this blog, what are your major disagreements with what Carlson says in his monologues?

What was jarring to me today was

Before his interview with Darren Beattie, Tucker said Trump’s enemies “are adopting the same tactics that US intel agencies used to start so-called ‘color revolutions’ in places LIKE UKRAINE.”

It is a direct quote. Have you heard that too?

Dr Li-Meng Yan, a Chinese virologist whistleblower currently hiding in US, said Covid-19 not only came from a lab (agree) but was also intentially released by China.

Tucker said nothing about her second claim, only hoping she’ll give more interviews and longer ones in the future.

In other news, Trump will win for sure since:

45% of gay men plan to vote for Trump (virtually tied with Biden). In contrast, in 2016, only 14% of gay men voted for Trump.
Trump is leading among Hispanic voters in Florida.

    1. “Intentionally,” sorry.

Regarding a protracted recount, Darren Beattie & Tucker discussed the difference between bringing in troops like in Iraq and ‘color revolutions’ which chief characteristic is “the combination of engineered contested elections scenario combined with massive mobilized protest (called ‘peaceful protest’ and ‘acts of civil disobedience’)”.

The main person they blamed was Norm Eisen, a former Obama’s ethics czar (and a Jew), who was, according to Tucker, “behind 180 lawsuits against Trump” and provided a “special counsel for Democrats for the impeachment process.”

Eisen’s Jewishness in his wiki entry wouldn’t have jumped at me this much, had Tucker not mentioned Soros who “gets what he pays for” several times in the same episode. Forgot whether Soros paid for Covid-19 misinformation or for US riots. 😦

Are you sure it’s a complete coincidence that both Soros and Norm Eisen, presented as Trump’s Arch Enemy, are Jews? 😦 I am honestly not sure, especially after discovering Darren Beattie’s possible ties to white nationalists (in the quote below).

Norm Eisen wrote a book, mentioned as something sinister, so naturally I decided you and I may enjoy reading it. 🙂 After not finding ‘a Colour Revolution playbook’ on Amazon, I googled and saw this:

      https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election/qanon-tucker-carlson-fox-news-election-violence-coup-b468768.html

      QUOTE

Mr Carlson conducted on his show with Darren Beattie, a former White House speechwriter who was fired in 2018 after it transpired he had attended a conference where he shared a panel with outspoken white nationalists.

As part of his extended monologue, Mr Beattie focused on a particular figure he described as “a nexus point” in the Democrats’ revolutionary conspiracy: Norm Eisen

Describing him as a “Democrat operative”, Mr Beattie said “he is also a key architect of nearly every effort to censor, sue, impeach and overthrow the president. He is the author, in fact, of a Colour Revolution playbook, literally called The Playbook, and one of the items that he calls for in his playbook to overthrow regimes overseas he doesn’t like is engineering election fraud scenarios, using election fraud to engineer mass protests to question the legitimacy of the target leader.”

The playbook that Mr Beattie described is in fact a widely available co-authored Brookings Institution report called The Democracy Playbook: Preventing and Reversing Democratic Backsliding. The section on election fraud relates specifically to authoritarian countries with a history of vote-rigging where opposition movements have the chance to plan in advance for what to do when detectable election fraud occurs.”

      1. As I said, Beattie is a Russian operative and a horrible, unsavory person. One of his tasks is absolutely inflaming ethnic tensions in the US.

I still hate Soros and would hate him no matter what ethnicity he personally had. But Beattie is a jerk.

As for the Chinese scientist’s claims, I still think the virus was released because of carelessness in the way I talked about back in January. However, I do think it was being developed for eventual release. It all happened sooner than planned, in my opinion but it was going to happen at some point.

Gays are 7% of the population. Half of them are men. This leaves us with 3,5%. Out of them, less than half are for Trump which is about 1,6%. They tend to leave in unflippable blue states so it’s not going to have an impact on the results of the election. But I’m surely happy that so many gay brothers are with us in this. 🙂

Rod has recently written their numbers are much less numerous than supposed:

“U.S. adults estimate that nearly one in four Americans (23.6%) are gay or lesbian.

Americans’ estimate of the proportion of gay people in the U.S. is more than five times Gallup’s more encompassing 2017 estimate that 4.5% of Americans are LGBT, based on respondents’ self-identification as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.”

        https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/race-lgbt-transgender-conforming-to-the-left-wing-narrative/

Personally, I think it may be less than 4.5% since for some people being bisexual is a fashion statement more than anything else.

Since identifying as bisexual is a fashion statement for some people, it may be less than 4.5%

Otoh, Gallup may underestimate the number of gays who are afraid to admit even in a survey, similar to media’s underestimation of Trump’s voters.

// Beattie is a Russian operative so obviously I don’t like him or any of the propaganda he spews.

How do you know it? As a non-US citizen, can I identify those operatives somehow?

Still curious about Tucker himself, have you found any major issues you disagree with him / his analysis about?

    1. Tucker and I are two very different people with two very different worldviews, so yes, of course. I think fly fishing is stupid, for one.

Jokes aside, I believe that Russia is a major negative presence in the world. I believe Russia and not China is US’s major adversary. I believe in abortion rights, obviously. I believe that most people in higher education are good, reasonable people who don’t brainwash students.

And I also believe that people like Beattie are poisonous. I recognize his talking points. I’ve heard them a million times. In short, anybody who uses the expression “color revolutions” is either an operative or has been brainwashed by operatives.

  3. // What I know is that it’s a stable 7% across the populations of all countries. This is a biological category.

I am very surprised. Where have you encountered this number? Which studies were good enough to make you accept 7% as the final verdict? I have seen many numbers ranging from 1.5% to 10%, but it’s the first time I see the number seven.

// I believe Russia and not China is US’s major adversary.

China is less strong than some in the West imagine, yet surely Russia is even weaker.

The main Russian danger is the regime losing country’s nuclear weapons or accidentally letting them explode via mismanagement. What can an international outcast like Putin do? Even within Russia the regime’s ratings are falling. A clique of thieves who rob their country blind and hide money in the West cannot be a real problem in the long run.

Re China, a book Rod quoted made me see it in a different, frightening light (after reading Rod for a while and feeling I could predict his posts already before reading, I was pleasantly surprised to discover something both new and important):

// In his 2019 book, We Have Been Harmonized —China’s term for neutralizing citizens as a threat to the social and political order — veteran journalist Kai Strittmatter, who spent years in Beijing reporting for a German daily, reveals the techno-dystopia that modern China has become. He interviews a Chinese teacher who gives his name as “David,” and who despairs of his country’s future.

“People born in the 1980s and afterwards are hopelessly lost,” David says. He continues:

The brainwashing starts in nursery school. It was different for us. They called us a lost generation because schools and colleges were closed back then, and many of us were denied an education. But in reality, we were probably the lucky ones. We fell through the cracks. The brainwashing didn’t get us. Mao was dead, and everyone was desperate for China to open up, for reform, freedom.

“And although I’m only ten years older than them, they don’t understand me. They live in a completely different world. They’ve been perfectly manipulated by their education and the Party’s propaganda: my students devote their lives to consumerism and ignore everything else. They ignore reality; it’s been made easy for them.”

And so, a population that has been wholly propagandized by a totalitarian state, and demoralized by hedonistic consumerism, will hardly be in a position even to imagine opposition to its command-and-control strategies. And even if some dissidents did emerge, the government’s total information system would quickly identify and “harmonize” them before they had the opportunity to act — or even before they had the conscious thought of dissenting.

China has weird things going on. They are a totalitarian regime but if that’s what they want, it’s their funeral. What do I care? It’s not China that has been invading countries on all continents. It’s not China sending mercenaries to support Maduro. It’s not China that came up with the strategy of deploying angry youngsters who call themselves Antifa to support authoritarianism at home 15 years ago.

When I see extremely similar movements, using the exact same tactics and slogans, using all the same imagery, using the same name doing similar things there and then here, I’m supposed to assume it’s all a gigantic coincidence. So OK, I’ll pretend it is because I’m tired of having the same old fight.

Your current old-time readers don’t look like such people.

Think you will be interested in this true story, for believing people it’s truly God’s punishment:

В одной из стран Западной Европы случилась авария. Водитель фуры, с гражданством РФ, сильно пострадал. Врачи экстренной медицинской помощи подъехали, когда человека уже надо было реанимировать. После детального осмотра пострадавшего на предплечье обнаружили тату “DNR 2014”.

Не то чтобы врач был бандеровцем, но все реанимационные действия сразу прекратил. Пострадавший помер, так и не узнав, что его татуха для медиков Европы значит.

DNR – стандартное сокращение фразы “Do Not Resuscitate”.

FSU failed since it couldn’t let its people consume at the Western level. If China succeeds in letting its Han population enjoy consumerism, while monitoring them otherwise, how long can the regime survive, especially if Western democracy is badly hurt by the weakening of nation states?

  6. A Russian blogger has his own theory why the second wave of Covid-19 is sweeping through the world : medical companies want to enjoy huge profits via selling vaccines. 🙂

Saw this case on LI and the police reaction was truly shocking:

“Black Lives Matters protesters swarmed a CVS in Georgetown because the employees had the nerve to call the police on two shoplifters.

One of the shoplifters has a warrant on him. The police did not arrest him, though, “because of the activist making a fuss.””

    It is insane.
