We have let our lives be stolen from us over irrational, ridiculous fears. I haven’t seen my family in Canada since December. That’s 4 encounters with her grandparents that have been stolen from my kid. Four prolonged stays while the grandparents are active, healthy and can play and run around with her. I don’t know how many such encounters we have left. I’m livid over all this. How the people are feeling whose livelihoods were taken away I can’t even imagine.
Gov. Ron DeSantis said Friday that closing school campuses in the spring as the coronavirus pandemic took hold might have been one of the nation’s biggest “public health mistakes.”
And, while appearing on the Drew Steele radio show, DeSantis equated people fighting the return of students to classrooms as the “flat earthers of our day.”
The only thing I don’t get is how Florida got so lucky.
DeSantis should run for president in 2024.
