Another tweet just to illustrate the depths of the insanity:
A son moves his chair next to his mother to comfort her at the funeral of her late husband, a member of staff says they’ve “been told” and asked to separate. It really does highlight the cruel lack of humanity and decency in the way in which we’re forced to live our lives today. https://t.co/D6azRpCBAf
We have all lost our fucking minds over this flu.
This weekend, found a place where the people have clearly had enough: a Catholic church. Saw 4 masks total amidst maybe 200+ people.
Most telling: we’d never been there before, yet an older gentleman engaged us in conversation as we walked from the parking lot, dozens of ppl were still standing around chatting from the previous service, and dozens more afterwards. People couldn’t get enough of simple human interaction where you could see the faces and smiles of the other person.
Sadly this is still rare, but I was very encouraged to see it. First group like that in 6 months of insanity.
