The Great Reset: Intro Post

Klaus Schwab is the founder of the World Economic Forum. For years, he’s been publishing books detailing the plans that the world’s 0,0001% have for the rest of us. He’s promising exactly what Zygmunt Bauman and Co have been warning about. And he’s doing it completely openly and in great detail.

Now he has published a new book. It’s titled COVID-19: The Great Reset. It’s not a pamphlet or a brochure. It’s a full-length book. It came out in early July, making many people wonder if such a detailed and far-reaching plan for a complete remaking of the world could have really been hatched up in a matter of a couple of months.

SARS-COV-2 is, of course, a pretext. On page one of the book Schwab announces that because of COVID “many things will change forever.” He makes no argument that the virus is particularly deadly. The virus isn’t really interesting to him at all, other than a pretext to accelerate the changes that Schwab and his globalist friends have been trying to bring about for years.

People have complained that I don’t bring any new books to the blog, so to compensate for my JK Rowling binge, I will go over Schwab’s book in small portions. There are some expected things in The Great Reset but also some stuff that is quite new. The proponents of fluidity aren’t rigid. Their theory mutates, and we need to know what direction they are planning to take us.

To give you a glimpse of what the book is like, here’s a long quote from the opening pages:

Many of us are pondering when things will return to normal. The short response is: never. Nothing will ever return to the “broken” sense of normalcy that prevailed prior to the crisis because the coronavirus pandemic marks a fundamental inflection point in our global trajectory. Some analysts call it a major bifurcation, others refer to a deep crisis of “biblical” proportions, but the essence remains the same: the world as we knew it in the early months of 2020 is no more, dissolved in the context of the pandemic. Radical changes of such consequence are coming that some pundits have referred to a “before coronavirus” (BC) and “after coronavirus” (AC) era. We will continue to be surprised by both the rapidity and unexpected nature of these changes – as they conflate with each other, they will provoke second-, third-, fourth- and more-order consequences, cascading effects and unforeseen outcomes. In so doing, they will shape a “new normal” radically different from the one we will be progressively leaving behind. Many of our beliefs and assumptions about what the world could or should look like will be shattered in the process.

It’s clear what Schwab is saying. We won’t be allowed to go back to normal because he and his WEF buddies (who are great fans of Greta Thunberg, AI, online learning, and the Chinese social credit system, by the way) didn’t like our normal.

And they are not going to let a good crisis go to waste.

Stay tuned for more…

  1. Sounds very interesting. I think it’s a bit early to clearly predict the outcomes of the pandemic, but I am also of the mind that we’re not going back to “normal” 100%. For example, I think work from home is definitely here to stay, and just that change in the labor space is hugely consequential.

Look forward to your analysis 🙂

    1. Schwab isn’t really predicting. He’s letting us know what the plan is. For instance, the leadership of the Illinois Board of Higher Education informed us back in 2012 that everybody except for a tiny elite will be educated online. It’s too expensive to educate the majority in actual classrooms, we were told.

Nobody paid attention. I did and was horrified.

And guess what? Everybody did lose their education just a few years later.

  2. Thank you! I’ve also got the book and am planning to read it too. It is worthwhile, right?

The interesting thing for me to consider is to which extent the current developments are guided by ‘WEF buddies’ and to which extent they are the result of many independent actors making decisions, with WEF members only describing the goings on.

After all, the decisions of Israeli government are not controlled by WEF. Ditto about Russia, with Putin pursuing his own goals.

    1. The book isn’t descriptive. It’s prescriptive. It’s a 286-page wishlist. Our question should be why this guy’s wishlist should be for us to make come true.

Nah. All of this COVID-and-Trump driven Sturm und Drang about the imminent Armageddon rising just below the horizon with the morning sun is fantasy nonsense. Put the plot in a “Borat” or “Three Stooges”movie, and see how many laughs it gets.

Every day when I’ve awakened over my long life, the world has moved a tiny notch westward toward the sunset, and then come back up directly the next day. The only monumental changes were the end of World War II in 1945 and the fall of Communism circa 1989.

This coronavirus pandemic will pass, perhaps later rather than sooner, and then we’ll all take off our masks and get back to the everyday reality of a Trump or Biden reality that isn’t that different from yesterday.

  4. And yet the people who have been talking about this planned future FOR YEARS have been ridiculed and called conspiracy theorists.

Bill Gates and his plans are a key ingredient of this planned future.

The Rockefellers and their “lock down” scenario from 2010

    Autonomous vehicles

“Sustainable” land use policies (round up the humans and sequester them in big cities)

How do we fight back against such powerful and aligned interests?

    1. Those who called them conspiracy theorists are simply ignorant. This isn’t a conspiracy. Schwab has published these ideas in several books over the years. It’s definitely not a covert operation. Its proponents believe they are in the right and don’t need to conceal what they are doing.

  5. It almost feels like these elites know they are so untouchable that they can, like in villains in cartoons or Hollywood movies, reveal their evil plan to us, but unlike the movies, here they get away with it
