Link of the Day

Anti-racism work updates.”

I have no words. This is the most racist garbage I’ve seen in a while.

These are the monkeys in question:

  1. I have a whole set of monkey ornaments for my Christmas tree, similar in shapes to the decor in the windows. I never thought about them as anything other than monkeys, rather funny in a nerdy way – monkey climbing the pine tree. Now they are racist? This woke crap really messes with your head.

    1. What do you call a person who sees these monkeys in a window and thinks, “Ooh, black people!” I call that person a crazed racist. Would it ever occur to anybody else to think that? It’s vile.

      1. You’d probably call them a person whose profession is to be offended about something so as to manufacture victimhood. Identity politics depends on that kind of thing, which is where the funding comes from.

Apparently the American public wants four years of obsessing about nonsense like this…. so…. enjoy! You’re gonna get a snootfull! Of course race relations will be worse than ever after a few months which is the entire point….

  3. And if you read the article – an old water fountain was removed because after they had installed a new one, having a second water fountain reminded some people of segregated water fountains. Which I’m not sure ever happened in the Seattle area in the 20th century. The smaller water fountain was a nice size for children to use. But who cares about children when you can virtue signal!

Wokeness won’t help a single adult in any area of life (except for a few hucksters paid to promote that nonsense). But it will adversely affect children (who will not react well to the adults in their lives acting like raging lunatics).

  4. To quote a great song from a great album:

    Make a whole new religion
A falling star that you cannot live without
    And I’ll feed your obsessions
There is nothing but this thing that you’ll never doubt
    This thing you’ll never doubt
    And I’ll feed your obsession
The falling star that you cannot live without
    I will be your religion
    This thing you’ll never doubt
    You’re not the only one
    You’re not the only one
    Bow down to me
