New Big City

I used to miss living in a big city. I don’t anymore because everything I liked about big cities – a variety of sensory stimulants, going out with friends, visiting salons, having cultural experiences – all that exists in my small town but is unthinkable in, say, Chicago. Let alone Montreal, which has become a pathetic outpost of totalitarianism.

A small town is the new big city.
