I think that it qualifies as coerced political speech by the government to make me sit through a meeting where, instead of discussing work-related stuff, people spend 30 minutes COVID-mongering, and I have to listen to it.
I’m not subjecting subordinates to my ideas on COVID in the meetings I call. I’m so ethical, I stopped posting them on the social media where people who depend on me for jobs can read them and feel coerced.
So why should my supervisors at this state university force me to participate in their political beliefs? Why is it that leftists / Democrats / progressives / liberals are never bothered by ethical concerns? Why do they think it’s OK to inflict their BLM slogans, for instance, on employees who can’t afford to protest?
