In Italy, a country severely hit by COVID, the chances of a relatively healthy person under 40 dying of it is 0,00006%. Had to count the zeros twice, there are so many of them.
The total of 15 healthy under-40-year-olds have died of COVID in Italy. If we count the unhealthy ones, too, the number is 163. The total population of people this age is 24 million.
By law, senate candidates in Italy must be at least 40 years old in order to nominate for election. So, none of the spaghetti’s making the rules are in the demographic that you’ve mentioned 🙂
