For readers who can’t see passworded posts: I was forced to participate in a struggle session where I expressed disagreement with the woke dogma.
Now I have updates of what people are saying about me behind my back after the struggle session. The general conclusion is that I’ve gone insane, crazy, and totally nuts. Nobody said so far that I must have had “that time of the month” or gone menopausal but I’m sure it’s coming.
If I were a man, they’d say I was angry and threatening.
I am sorry, Clarissa. You are completely sane as far as I can tell and more aware of what is going on than all of them put together. I think that perhaps those who are the loudest in expressing their opinion about you are using this as an opportunity to show their undying allegiance to the new regime, so it is more about them (Look at me I am a good person!) than it is about you. I hope that there is at least someone there who has your back.

In all honesty, it was “that time of the month” for me but I held the exact same ideas before and after. :-))
I’m really grateful for your support.

A useful tool when dealing with these kinds of people is to state that there are two types of reality; the effective reality, which is reality as it corresponds to physics, physical laws, biological laws, mathematical laws etc, and the affective reality, which is reality as perceived by a person.
So, sometimes different people come into conflict because one persons affective reality does not correspond with another persons affective reality.
In turn, that means that everybody can benefit by examining how closely their affective reality corresponds with the effective reality of biological laws, physical laws etc.
Anyway, despite being completely correct, saying all of this is a dirty trick to use, because it establishes that the affective reality of the wokesters might not correspond to the effective reality, which in turn allows you to reexamine their affective reality, and then to butcher the delusional swine.

You are a very good writer, George. The contrast between the language of this comment with its closing words is brilliant.

A little prior to finding your blog, some quite terrible things happened in my life, robbing me of my ability to form sentences or argue persuasively. A lot of the time, I couldn’t even spell. It has been a long time since anybody made a comment like that, so thankyou. It was a nice thing to say.

I think his critics are actually right. Immigrants who have managed to integrate into the new country don’t blog, YouTube, tweet, etc in Russian. They don’t have much to say to the former compatriots and address the new ones.
He can try to bury this sad reality in a flurry of words but it’s the truth. I have actually been offered money to write for a Ukrainian audience and I refused because I sincerely have nothing to say other than, “good luck, totally rooting for you, go Ukraine, go.”

Hi Clarissa,
I’ve been reading your blog for years (I think for around 7-8 years…), but I’ve never commented before today, because I’m shy, I guess, and my English is not that great, therefore I struggle to write a comment fast. I also don’t read your password-protected posts. I just wanted to tell you that I admire you a lot. I’m in awe of your intellect, the passion you put in your research, the way you care for your students. After reading this post I’ve felt anger on your behalf. I know that you’re confident and you don’t need reassurance, but I wanted to let you know that I empathize with you and feel for you. You’re awesome!

I am so sorry to hear this, Clarissa! I have been reading your blog for years, and only started commenting recently. You are one of the sanest and most intelligent people I know. Your colleagues are morons. They don’t deserve you.

Stay strong Clarissa. This was bound to happen. My advice in such situations is always keep calm and collected, never give them a reason to validate their “she/he is crazy!”, never apologize, and just go on with life.

I wondered what happened! I tried to send a few people to look at your library purge posts, and they had been passworded.
