Easy to Laugh

It’s easy to laugh at poor Kyle but I have met women who said these things to me verbatim and somewhat obsessively. One had a whole system of arguments from the physiology of cats (as in, felines) to support these beliefs. I reacted to the cat argument with mild sarcasm, and she didn’t talk to me for a month.

No wonder Kyle is confused.

  1. I’ve done a lot of reading about this kind of thing. The problem is that women are often not told anything about female orgasm, or they’re not given plain advice on self-experimentation. Nothing is said, it’s all ignored, and the women who do learn are those who either taught themselves or those who someone else taught. There are those who never learn and who never stumble upon resources that were made specifically to dispel this myth.

What exactly is the cat argument??

    1. It went something like this: female cats scream when they are in heat, which shows that they don’t enjoy sex. Hence it’s normal for women not to enjoy sex.

Nah, the cats are screaming to attract male cats because they want the sex. Everybody knows that.

  3. This Kyle person is very confused. The female orgasm isn’t as obvious as the male orgasm (except to the woman experiencing the orgasm, obviously) but features may physiological effects that may be easily measured, like changes to blood flow, temperature, heart rate, hormone levels, respiration etc and in some women, the phenomenon commonly called “squirting” (which itself is complex and probably more than one thing).

  4. The men who claim that women can’t orgasm are the ones who don’t know how to go about to give a woman one. If they asked the vibrators, there would not be any doubt.
