Twitter changed its algorithm and now boosts people who get into “conversations” instead of those who get likes and retweets:

· 13.5x for reply
· 12x for click to profile
· 10x for click & user stays >2 mins
· 1x for retweet
· 0.5x for like

This is very bad for users because it rewards nasty bickering.
