I went to a nail salon today, and they had the British version of Deal or No Deal on the TV. People, it’s hilarious. Cultural differences are real.

The prize amounts are tiny. People get ridiculously excited over very small prizes. “£5,500 is a hell of a lot of money!” People are extremely low in emotion. Everything is very quiet and steady. There are no gorgeous, scantily clad women. Nobody dances, screams, yells, weeps, or emotes in any way. It’s cute but soporific.
