You have no idea how much pressure there is to pass everybody, irrespective of what they actually learned, in health-related disciplines.
At least in the Humanities, there’s no pressure to pass anybody. I have never in my life been asked to grade on a curve, and I’m not even certain what that would entail. But in health disciplines, there’s a constant “if I raise all of the Cs to B- and all of the B- to B”, and so on.
