I came across this processional as I was walking around Salamanca today. It is bringing the Blessed Sacrament, and, for those who are unfamiliar with Catholic processions, there are people under the altar who slowly walk it where it needs to go.
The feet of the cargadores (I’m not sure what to call them in English. Carriers sounds weird) are those of very young people. This is very good.
