The Left brought tens of thousands around the world into the streets to support a violent criminal and drug addict George Floyd. Then the Left bullied us all into accepting pro-crime measures to atone for Floyd’s overdose.

The Right didn’t manage (or even try, as far as I can see) to bring anybody out to protest the murder of Laken Riley. She’s mostly forgotten at this point.

It’s easy to hide behind conspiracies and assumed victimhood. But unless you have a) a strategy and b) the willingness to peck patiently for decades at the monolith in front of you , you’ll lose. Strategy and carry-through win. Everything else loses. Look at Chris Rufo, the only guy on the Right who actually gets results. A thousand Rufos peck-peck-pecking away will bring results. Unfortunately, we don’t have a thousand Rufos. We have plenty of worshippers of the magic pill but very few people who have the patience to do the work instead of moaning how hard the project is.

Our county representatives voted to refuse to abide by our sanctuary state resolutions and refuse the governor’s efforts to send several busloads of illegal migrants our way. The resolution passed with an overwhelming majority.

Of course, the left-wing colleagues are very unhappy.

“These county board bastards!” one fumes. “Anti-vaxxers!”

“Why anti-vaxxers?” I ask mildly.

“Because! I know how they think! Right-wingers! Anti-vaxxers!” the colleague screeches.

“Do you believe those migrants got vaccinated for COVID before crossing the Rio Grande?” I ask even more mildly.

“Well… I mean… That’s not the point, anyway!” the colleague mumbles, all flustered.

It’s considered to be progressive to import slave labor and brag about it openly. I’ve been hearing this argument about cheap produce requiring millions of illegal immigrants from colleagues on the Left for years. When you ask them why this work can’t be automated, like it’s been in poorer countries for decades, they pout.

What’s funny is that the opposition calls people like this Warren dude “Marxists.” Marxists have their faults but cheering on the exploitation of workers to please the bourgeoisie is not one of them.

Also, in my niece’s dance school, parents are in a tizzy because the costumes teachers selected for dancing hip hop are “too violent.” Of course, after you read “DEI-lensed indigenous little books”, your mind might get even more clouded than it was before.

This is one of my favorite Ukrainian writers. He survived months of terrible torture by Russians in Lugansk in 2014 (delivered courtesy of one Barack Obama), and now he’s on the front line.

We have politicians who are so out of touch with the people they are supposed to represent that it’s funny. Until you remember that this has real-life repercussions.

On the subject of May-December (or February-August, in this particular case) romances that everybody likes to ponder, a terrible thing happened to one such couple.

Vicente (45) and Fernanda (28) have been driving around Asia, making videos to post online. They’ve been doing that for 5 years, so this bastard Vicente started dragging Fernanda around, milking her for content, while she was a 23-year-old child. He couldn’t post videos of himself because nobody would be interested, so he needed to use a young cute girl for this purpose.

Vicente and Fernanda were making their way through India on motorcycle. Vicente clearly had no interest in providing safety or comfort to poor dumb Fernanda. As a result, Fernanda was gang-raped by 7 criminals in India. The horrible Vicente saw a fresh opportunity to make money and immediately posted a video, sharing details of Fernanda’s rape. Thankfully, Indian police had him take down the video, but what a bastard.

Kindle’s text-to-speech is now so good that Audible will soon go out of existence. It’s interesting how developing tech is destroying a large revenue stream within the same company.

Has anyone watched True Detective: Night Country? I loved seasons 1 and 2, and didn’t like season 3 much.

Currently, we are watching Inventing Anna because Julia Garner is very talented and the outfits are pretty, which makes up for how horrid everything else about this show is. As an additional bonus, I erupt in long passionate screeds whenever the dude who poses as a woman appears on screen. Why it is always the manliest-looking dudes who try to pull this con is a mystery.
