A student who kept missing all those Friday classes is answering the question “What is linguicide?”
It’s a murder of linguists. Franco hated all linguists and wanted to kill them off because they were part of the terrorist organization ETA. They also support the welfare state and Franco doesn’t like that.
In the section where students didn’t miss lectures, most people got an A for this mini-quiz, though.
“Linguist” kinda sorta sounds like “linkage”, which is my total pathetic excuse for submitting these two:

These murdering bastards kill more people than all the abortionists, home-birth-practitioners and drunk drivers put together.

This particular concept of linguicide reminds me of the Bush era during which it seemed as if almost every soldier with language skills turned out to be gay and was drummed out of the service under DADT, and of course every in-country local recruited as an interpreter faced intense persecution and was filing for refugee status.
