Globalization Reaches the Midwest

N and I have this admittedly strange hobby where we stare at different kinds of alcohol and make fun of it. I know, it’s bizarre but everybody has some quirk or another.

So today we discovered this beer with a logo in Russian. And this is in a regular supermarket in a small Midwestern town.

  1. “Imperialist stout” sounds like an insult you’d call a dictator, as well as a beer. ๐Ÿ™‚
    By the way, me and my friends also do this at the liquor store. Our favourite odd yet tasty beer is Phillips’ White Unicorn IPA:

  2. Wait until friends start bringing this stuff to you as a gift. We once had to drink Estonian vodka – it took great effort for our American friends to find it in the Midwest… ๐Ÿ™‚
