Reader Tim is saying that I’m posting too much. I’m nothing if not accommodating, so I decided to conduct a poll to see what people wanted. Please vote in the new poll that has appeared in the right-hand panel of the blog.

I will be shutting up now. For a little while, at least.

I don’t get the behaviour that’d lead someone to believe you’re posting too MUCH content. If I didn’t want to read it all I could always, you know, read less.

As someone who reads all your posts, I’m completely fine with the pace of your output. Enough to hold my attention, but not so much that I start to worry for your mental health. 😛

Oh, you lovely, lovely person. I really like this comment. 🙂

Not that I’m trying to influence how anybody votes. Khm khm.

Honestly, one of my favorite things about this blog is how frequently you post. There is also something new to read, it’s lively, you respond to coments. I think it’s great. I wouldn’t mind even more posts to tell you the truth! I love the content! 🙂

Oh, after this comment I will totally drown everybody in posts.

      I’m kidding. I think. 🙂

Well posting content implies you think you are important. But how do you think that makes people who do not post content feel? You haven’t thought about them, have you? They may be feeling all sorts of things that they simply can’t express, perhaps because their educations were bad because nobody took time with them, or because their lives are just not that interesting anyway, or because they have managed to attain the superior moral position of understanding that nobody’s ideas are better than anybody else’s. But then there are people who are arrogant, who want to take up our attention. It’s like that unforgettable Clockwork Orange movie where they try to put match sticks in the viewers’ eyes to make them watch pornography, without thinking really deeply whether this is what their audience wants. Perhaps the audience just wants to lie on the couch and snooze all day, but nobody really considers that. It’s just “me, me, me” from the point of view of the would-be educator, like they’re the only one who matters.

You’re like the Goldilocks of posting frequency. Your posts are mostly short and sweet but with actual content.

It’s YOUR blog, so you say what you like, as often as you like, as verbosely as you like.
Some people may agree with what you say, and some may disagree, and that can lead to interesting (or boring, depending on taste) discussions in comments and elsewhere. But you decide what to write, how often to write and how much to write.

I’ll agree with you sometimes, and disagree with you at others, but it’s your blog.

      – Yes, but I also feel bad if I clutter people’s feeds too much, you know?

Some of us don’t have feeds. Or maybe I’m just the only one?

The poll doesn’t show up for me. Also, if anything, I’d like you to post more 😀

    +1

I regularly read few blogs, and love having a short list of favorites, to check (usually) every day what’s new. Naturally, feel free to post as much or as little as you wish. Isn’t the goal of it all having fun and being yourself?

If any reader isn’t interested in some posts, one can always choose to skip them.
