I love the Bildung series!
I am sure I am not alone, it’s just that people are reading but perhaps not commenting.

Most of the series only appeared on the blog now. And please, please continue it, it’s highly interesting and very very funny!

No, no, I like this series. I checked your blog in the morning and there was nothing new, and now there are six new posts! You are expecting instant gratification!

I like it too! I just don’t have anything interesting to say about them…

What a great series. Shows you reading books, but also part of intellectual communities, and changing as a person and thinker. (Sorry to say it but Jonathan’s does not.)

I suspect that, like many, I’m reading avidly but not commenting. I find your posts about life in Ukraine and the FSU (and as an expat) some of the most interesting things you write, but if I commented, it would be the same comment over and over again: “Wow! The world is even bigger than I thought.”

I don’t think I really did change. At least I didn’t experience my development that way.
