With the frequency of my visits to the dentist, you’d think I have several rows of teeth, like a shark.
I have so much work to do, research, syllabi, tenure dossier, translation, supervising the contractor, sending out the book, etc. But instead of doing all this, I have to spend 5 hours in the dental chair. Grrrrrr.
If you feel like a human shark, take a look at this link: http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/25/world/asia/india-abnormal-teeth/index.html?hpt=hp_t5

Whew. Good luck. I have a nightmare story about an impacted wisdom tooth. After a movie like scene which included this guy using his instruments with the force and fashion of a pry bar, I walked out of the dental office in tears. I was writhing in pain even with multiple vicoden a few hours later. The healing process took several more visits to the dentist, along with more pain than I care to remember.

I always suspected that was your true nature 🙂 Is it your wisdom teeth we’re talking about? I do remember taking them out was a neverending nightmare… I hope those dentist visits of yours end real soon!

No, I had 2 crowns and 5 fillings done. I definitely have more crowns than teeth which is weird.

Five hours?
What ancient God of Dentistry did you unwittingly mock at your peril? 🙂

I’ve been visiting dentists for as long as I’ve had teeth. It just never ends.

Ah, yes, I have strong, resilient English teeth …
I also realise it’s a day early for this to qualify as a weekend comedy night. 🙂

I have been having my wife’s teeth done now, she needs implants. It takes a lot of money, time, and pain. Women who grew up in the USSR all seem to universally have bad teeth.

And the atrocious dental care. I was 9 when a completely drunk dentist destroyed my permanent front teeth.
