Yes, this is clearly my most pressing concern as I prepare for another academic year. I am not at all concerned about student counts or planning or mentoring the newest teacher in our department. Really, all I need to know is that my legs will be soft and silky; then everything will be okay. 😉

This is bringing flashbacks to being an awkward 12 year old and trying to press my legs against the bottom of my chair because once another girl in class looked at me with pity and said “Your mom won’t let you shave, huh?”
So, I’m guessing this ad is targeted at preteen girls who would buy a razor, sneak it home, and awkwardly try to shave without their parents noticing, like I did.

I have those razors; they do indeed make your legs very soft and very silky, but they wear-out annoyingly fast.

Dang, I did not make the connection between school and class at first. At first I thought, ‘Going back to class’ was meant as becoming classy again and not stay a trashy unshaved hag.

Well, probably because you don’t go back to class at the end of summer here but back to school 🙂

Odd, I thought the school uniforms on sale at Staples in the UK were overpriced, and there wasn’t any mention of “back to class” — Tim’s observation holds, but I must point out that you cannot go “back to class” if you never actually had any …

Also, you shop at Target, you class-conscious person, you. 🙂

(The UK needs “People of Asda”, aka “People of Wal-Mart”, but it would be better as “People of Poundland” or perhaps “Pound Shop Proles” … [evil grin])

I’d take a razor over this any day.
