I don’t know what Virginia Democrats are trying to achieve with this offensive strategy but tomorrow the Dems will eat the bitter fruit of their contempt for their voters when both houses of Congress slip far, far away from their reach.

  1. I think the linked blogger is engaging in unnecessary hysteria. I received one of those voter history cards. It was a bit more detailed and even listed some local elections that I had missed. I actually found the information interesting. And there is no “shaming” involved. It was mostly just a little statistical analysis. I’m not sure why the blogger felt so shamed and upset. I thought the card was completely innocuous and, as I said above, interesting. It’s amazing to me what some people get offended by,

    1. The document bears the title “report card.” That is very infantilizing. Of course, the die – hard Democrats will still go to the polls. But those who are on the fence might find this off putting.

  2. In Delaware, I did not get one of those cards, but several people I know did get them. I suppose that they were sent to registered Democrats and I, as a registered Green, did not rate. Whether one voted is a matter of public record; it is possible to find out this for anyone.

    How one voted, is of course secret.
