Mimosa

So we finally got our tree. And it’s a mimosa! Here is how it looks right now:

OK, this is obviously not much to look at but do you want to know what these trees look like when they are in bloom? Here it is:

    Are you going to get a pet giraffe? If I remember correctly, giraffes love to eat the top branches and leaves of mimosa trees.

    I also love mimosas: The tree, not the drink, although the drink is OK occasionally.

    We have one of those outside out bedroom window. Never knew what it was called, and asked about it, and were told that it was a claiandra, powder puff or fairy duster bush. See here:

      Of course, it just had to become extremely cold the day after it was planted. Jewish luck. Even our mimosa has become Jewish.
