This is the best conference ever, people. I talked for 20 minutes, and then answered questions for the next hour and a half. Everybody had so many questions. This was by far the best collection of questions I ever got.
And of course this was only possible because I didn’t read my paper. I just talked about my topic without any props at all.
The conference organizers will be very happy that they invited me because as the first speaker I really revved up the audience for the following presentations.

Yes! It’s the only way to go. People who use PowerPoint or some such thing are far more difficult to understand!

It’s great that you had no notes! That’s what I did when I took part in conferences. Just talked and thus made people interested.
