Turns out that Jamie Oliver, the celebrity chef, has been running around informing women that “breastfeeding is easy and convenient.” I’m afraid to ask how the poor fellow found out and who it is he’s been feeding with his breast milk.
Seriously, it would be so much better if cooks cooked, doctors treated patients, teachers taught, and politicians ran for president.
I believe Jamie Oliver is married with 4 kids. Presumably breastfeeding was very easy and convenient for him, because his wife did it!

Jamie Oliver has a lot of problems. I watched Food Revolution a while ago, and he harangued this woman whose main problem was that she had no support (her husband was gone 3 weeks out of four) and had very little money (the food they ate was horrific though). He showed her how to make a salad and boil pasta and then was totally shocked she went back to junk food after their dramatic deep fryer funeral. He attempted to reform the school lunches in this town but he consistently went over budget, had a ton of food waste and failed the USDA requirements.
When did you realize that breastfeeding isn’t always soundless? I didn’t until my cousin was born.

So does this mean that mad geniuses should be allowed to take over the world, because mad geniuses have much better ideas about what to do with it? 🙂
