A friend posted this horrible story about a Mommy from hell who is mowing down her poor daughter like a bulldozer, and I’m now traumatized. Of course, the story is probably fictional because no actual person with five kids has time, energy, or need to bully one of them so relentlessly.
I should stay off Facebook because it always creeps me out.
Damn, that sounds like my Mom. I was a quiet, shy kid who liked to read and paint and my mother is very outgoing. I barely had friends, especially when I got into Alternative/Punk/Goth in middle and high school and the other kids thought I was a freak. She’d be upset that I didn’t have friends and thought I was crazy because I liked to be by myself with my books and music, she said people were going to think I was a mental patient. Of course, this just made me dig in my heels and be more of a misanthrope and asshole then I was already😀 If a kid doesn’t want to do something, leave them alone unless you want your kid to be more of an asshole to you than normal.
