I’m not posting because it’s Klara’s first day at daycare and I’m blubbering. There is no rational readonly to blubber but as my analyst used to say, not everything needs to be rational.
I will rejoin the interesting discussions that we are having on the blog after I collect her from the school and feel better.
Aww. I’m sorry. Hopefully it will get easier soon–especially once you are teaching again and bombarded with all the types of things that happen when you are back on campus. I don’t know about you but for me, my teaching days fly by and I don’t really have time to think about anything else but the task directly in front of me.
A very close friend of mine has a baby just a tiny bit older than Klara and she took her to daycare for the first time about three weeks ago. And my friend, (I’ll call her Cee), said she just cried in her car after dropping off her baby. But then Cee got to work, remembered how much she enjoyed working, and then said that her baby seemed to enjoy daycare. When the baby was picked up, she was laughing with a teacher who lovingly playing with her. So, in my friend’s case the daycare blues only lasted a couple of days. Hopefully you will experience something similar. 🙂

Oh, this is out of topic, but since I can’t use WordAds in my blog, I decided to abandon my idea of blogging in English in WordPress.
Maybe I should become a Youtuber…
At least there’s someone who read me on Facebook (or maybe I should blog in WordPress whatever…) . I don’t know. This is not the right time for me. It’s more interesting to learn English and do some maths…

Oh, poor you! This sounds so hard. My heart goes out to you. But do try to remember that you are doing Klara a great favour by detaching from her and allowing her to explore the world and new relationships on her own terms. I’m sure that does not make it easier, but you are a wonderful mother who will ensure she grows up developing her own personality as is most healthy for her.
