morbid phenomena… or times of monster (which I also quote from memory). I have always interpreted that quote as a terrible/monstrous phenomena that escapes our understanding. You know, a form without definite contours, shapeless or a shape you do not quite recognize?
This is most certainly what is happening to me these days.
