  1. Buy the food only. Every non-food object you acquire is one that must then be stored and accounted for.


  2. You are in grave danger — leave the mall immediately! Proceed to the nearest exit calmly; under no circumstances should you reach for your wallet.


    Seriously now, why not get lunch and a cup of tea? When full and not thirsty, I find I am also less likely to shop for other things.
