Vote PPC

“Canadians need to choose how we finish the fight against COVID-19 and build back better, from getting the job done on vaccines to having people’s backs all the way to and through the end of this crisis,” Trudeau continued. “In this pivotal, consequential moment, who wouldn’t want to have a say, who wouldn’t want their chance to help decide where our country goes from here?”

First of all, why is he stealing a slogan from a presidential campaign in a completely different country? Too stupid and subservient to afford Canada a bit of dignity as a country in its own right?

“This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset,” Justin Trudeau told a United Nations conference last year. “This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts, to re-imagine economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality and climate change.”

Also, “re-imagine”? What’s next, “circle back”? Can the fellow say anything that doesn’t make him sound like the ditzy WH press secretary? Canadians already don’t have much by way of national identity that can’t be reduced to “we are different from Americans.” (Sorry, Canadians, but you know I’m right.) This slavish recitation of American slogans weakens an already tenuous national identity.

In short, please don’t vote for this smug, stupid bastard. And don’t vote for the other smug, stupid bastard. Vote PPC.

    1. Bernier ,in the conservative leadership campaign, was defeated by the milk lobby, ie saputo and agropur-paid for CPC memberships in Quebec. those bastards hold monopolies(created by Trudeau pere)that charge Canadians 2 to 3 times what Americans pay for milk, cheese and poultry.Same as banking charges, cell bills and internet . I will vote CPC in the hopes of stopping C-10,C-36.And shower after that. The lesser of 2 evils. You sir, are a liar or a fool.

  1. In Canada’s wokester ‘one-party democracy,’ the PPC functions as a useful pressure release valve.

The PPC endorses several anti-woke positions that have considerable resonance amongst many Canadians according to public opinion surveys.

During election campaigns, all of these populist positions are loudly and unanimously denounced by the many worthies of Canada’s woke elite who actually run the country as — stupid, crazy, dangerous, backward-thinking, and to sum it up with a flourish, more “far-right” than the Nazis.

The lesson given is that nice Canadians who defer to their elites (i.e. almost everybody) should wash their public policy mouths out with soap for ever agreeing with anything supported by the nasty, nasty evildoers of the PPC.

Anyway, electoral success in Canada’s federal system demands a regional voting stronghold and the PPC has none (unlike the Bloc Québécois or the late Reform Party) and has little, (to be kind), or no, (as in minus zero), prospect of ever getting one.

    1. Please allow me to circle back on my point above that the PPC provides Canada’s woke elites with a welcome and useful teaching moment come election time.

The lesson is always the same – close your ears and eyes when the PPC talks because it is a racist, white supremacist, anti-science, anti-vaxxer/masker/grandma-killer, anti-women/gays, Canadian branch of the international disciples of Satan aka Trump (Orange Man Bad)/Nazi party. (Populism is nothing more than a dirty habit that will in time make you go blind, it is forcefully asserted.)

Following this link will lead you to a long, breathless post-election hitpiece of this ilk published by CTV (Canada’s largest television network.)

Bernier responded by calling this, and two other, journalists “idiots” and encouraged his followers to share their opinions on the quality of their work/smears though their email addresses. For this he was suspended from Twitter for 12 hours (message sent, we’re watching YOU, you miserable sob) which served to justify a new hysterical round of published attacks/fainting spells by other Canadian journalists (no need to add the adjective woke to modify “Canadian journalists” as they’re almost all as woke as woke can possibly be.)

      1. Disgusting, Soviet-style stuff.

As I always say, when there’s not a single person in the country who writes or reads this kind of article seriously and believes a word of it, the system will fall. Not immediately but it will. That’s our best chance.

        1. “Soviet-style stuff”

“when not a single person in the country who… believes a word of it”

Not holding my breath. Millions do sincerely, earnestly, believe. Can the purges be far behind?

          1. In the USSR, from the earnest believers in the 1920s it took until their grandchildren in the 1970s to lose faith and then the empire fell apart in the 80s. So yeah. . .
