I’m rereading an article I published in 2018 and wondering if I was in a coma when I wrote it. The writing is so impotent and pathetic that it’s hard to believe a human being could actually achieve the unenviable feat of producing something this bad.

In 4 years one can evolve to be a completely different person. It doesn’t mean the work you did back then was bad. It is just bad from the perspective of the new person that you are today. I’m sure your 2018 work is still appealing to many people. But your standard is different today.
