   So apparently NYT actually released a statement about this. The original word was FETUS, but they wanted to steer away from the politics, so they replaced it with SHINE. If you used a cached version or didn’t refresh your browser, you got the old word. If for whatever reason you didn’t use the cached version, you got the new word.

   You were just part of the unfortunate former group.
