Good news! If you exclude everything people need to live, there is no inflation!
Economists are truly the dumbest bastards.
What is actually included, in that CPI?!
Krugman actually did some good theoretical work, once upon a time, but he’s been, dare I say it, a partisan hack for years now.

Luxury goods. Which aren’t growing in price because people don’t have money to buy them. Because the money went to food, shelter and energy.
So relieved that all the stuff we either don’t have or purchase secondhand is not plagued by inflation.
This is like getting bulletins from a completely irrelevant parallel universe.

On the other hand, Argentina has the annual inflation of 138%, so we have a lot to catch up on to win this competition.
We are grateful for small mercies.
