Elitism is good, and I think anti-elitist discourse is childish. Of course all societies need elites, by virtue of their superior intelligence, strength, bravery, moral values, and so on. But what’s going on here is that we’re being ruled by the stupidest people on the fucking planet. That’s what hurts.

Was the urgent need to queer Islam mentioned?

I’ve heard Saudi Aramco has been promoting its green credentials. I suppose they’ve moved on from greenwashing to wokewashing.

There is a hella lotta crazy in Saudi Arabia now…. this kind of takes the cake…
the channel is a Central European (Hungarian living in Czechia) urbanist who does great videos on what kind or urban solutions (for creating livable non-car-dominated urban spaces) work and what doesn’t work.
“The Line” has got to be the stupidest project I’ve ever heard of…. it sounds like something rejected from a comedy show….
