It wasn’t! I had just straightened my hair but I had to run outside to take the car in. The hair obviously immediately went frizzy.
So I straightened it again. I have a lot of hair. It takes a while to straighten it.
Then – get this – I had to go outside again, got wet, and had to straighten the darn hair for the third bloody time in one day. I have an event tomorrow, a photographer is coming, I need to look decent. Lord have mercy, this was a long day, and we still don’t know what’s been done to the roof.

I hope that your car was safely parked inside your garage.

Japan has this way to straighten hair for months at a time, but 17000円 is a pretty steep price, especially given this video is from 2016 …

The price is on a board three seconds in, BTW.
There’s a place called Belle’s Salon in metro Chicago that says they do it, but it may be a bit of a drive for you.
Still, it sounds like it holds for 6+ months, and it works for frizzy haired redheads in southern Japan, which is a bit more humid than Illinois.
