… is everywhere. Please listen to this stunningly bad performance of the national anthem:

I understand she was trying to be original but what a disaster. We have student singers perform the anthem at the convocation each year, and they all do a better job than this apparently famous performer.

    I got second hand embarrassment.

I will never understand why they need to change what is a simple song with a very simple singing structure, into this type of verbal excrement. Even the “good ones” are terrible.

      The players looked downright mortified.

On the positive side, now everybody has heard what it would sound like if I sang it. I’m a terrible singer, and I wouldn’t purposefully inflict my singing on people.

I’m 100% in favor of letting the local high school choir sing it at every public event. It’s a crap song in terms of being out of most people’s range on one end or the other. You can make up for that by having a group with all four parts sing it.

    Even the apology is disgraceful.

God, what a crappy person. I hate it when women in their thirties pretend to be adorable teenagers. Pathetic

Indeed. Even soused English men thought they could attempt this tune — (which came from Anacreon in Heaven an English drinking tune)

Bwaahahha…. is she crying? She’s straining, barely says the words and can’t hit the notes and is breathy?

    Is it worse than Roseanne’s?
