I don’t know that one, but I do remember playing Ring around a Rosey as a kid, which I recently found out was from Europe during either the bubonic plague or the black death, can’t remember which.

We had some version of that, with the elastic loop. But clap games and jump rope chants were more popular.

I think kids do not do them much anymore, but some, and they have not changed really.
