OK, this is genuinely funny. I subscribed for the humor, unintended as it may be.

I will now refer to myself as historically accomplished. I have no idea what it means but neither does the pleasantly buzzed author of this tweet.

Even if you ignore her lack of skills as a politician, she’s a mediocrity even by the standards of the white collar, professional managerial class of strivers she represents. Mid-tier law school, failed the bar exam. Historically accomplished my ass!

I have also accomplished stuff, historically. Right now, not so much.

I made some historically accomplished borscht today and folded some epic laundry. It’s a true achievement because I had to be on my feet to do it.

We are leaving aside the reference to Trump as “jobless.” The dude isn’t bringing in a wage. How will he ever make the minimum payment on his credit card and cover this month’s electric bill?

Aye. I am jobless myself. This week I heroically took apart the kitchen sink drain and removed a historically massive clog. It sure feels like an accomplishment.

I’m jobless too. (For many years, my husband identified as “self-employed,” and I identified as “self-unemployed,” but now that we’re old we just identify as “retired.”) I’m almost 70 and have never accomplished anything that would get me recognition, much less accolades, from most of the world. However, my nine-year-old grandson and I recently made a very cool fairy garden. Does that count as an accomplishment? It felt like one to us.

We should all be as jobless as the billionaire Trump.
